Since 2017 a working group with the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Department of Business Organisation (SPAIN), was established, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Maria del Mar Alonso-Almeida. The working group involves also Prof. Jose MIguel Rodriguez Anton and Prof. Beatriz Narbona, all included in the academic team of EU-funded projects (COST Action CA16121 https://sharingandcaring.eu/about-sharing-and-caring, ERASMUS+ COLECO https://colecoproject.wordpress.com/) in the field of sustainable tourism, digital platforms for short-term rental accommodations, collaborative economy at large.

Since 2019, a working group with the University of Calabria, Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering (ITALY), was established. Gianpaolo Iazzolino, Saverino Verteramo, and Giovanni Baldissarro, from the EBALAB - University of Calabria, are involved in this cooperation with conjoint conference participations and journal articles published on Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, Management Decision and Journal of Business Research.

Since 2020, a cooperation was established with the Full Professor Roberto Sbragia, Management Department of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Accountancy of the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Master and PhD. in Business Administration by FEA/USP. Pos-Doctoral studies at Northwestern University, Technological Institute, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences, Evanston/ILL, with emphasis on “R&D Management”. Member of the group on Innovation, Technology and Project Management at FEA. Member of the Advisory Committee of the Project Management Global Forum, UTD- University of Texas at Dallas, Dallas/TEX. Active member of IAMOT- International Association of Management of Technology and PMI- Project Management Institute. Former President and active member of ALTEC- Latin America Association for Technology Management. Professor, author and consultant in the area of Innovation, Technology and Project Management. The collaboration with professor Sbragia led to important publications in Scientometrics and several conference presentations on patent analysis, project management, circular economy and innovation management at large.

Since 2023, a cooperation with Prof. Borini and Prof. Leonardo Augusto Gomes, at BRIDGE Ecosystem Laboratory of the University of Sao Paulo, BRAZIL, was established. The cooperation led Prof. Carlo Giglio to be course professor on "Research-intensive start-ups in innovation ecosystems" at the University of Sao Paulo, whilst being part of the international research group on Innovation Ecosytems and Deep Techs. Also the PhD student Rodolfo Ribeiro is currently co-supervised by Carlo Giglio and Gianpaolo Iazzolino at the University of Calabria, during his visiting semester in Italy.

Since 2023, a close cooperation was established with Prof. Bianco on themes related to Tourism and Hospitality Management, digital platform and tourist behaviour, start-ups and hi-tech in tourism. Dr Simone Bianco joined the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in August 2023. Specializing in strategic management, startups, and firms' competition, his research has been recognized in top-tier journals, including Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Research. Before joining SHTM, he had several years of hospitality industry experience, in the hotel, restaurant, and industry representation fields in both Europe and the United States.

Ekaterina Vainberg is an accomplished and versatile professional with a track record of impactful contributions throughout her career. Ms. Vainberg’s achievements have generated broad acclaim in her field of high-tech innovation (AI), digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and startup ecosystem development. She has been recognized by major international organisations (such as G-20 YEA, Global Entrepreneurship Network, Singularity University and others) and business leaders as an outstanding expert in her industry. From 2020 to 2024 she was a Business Leader in the AI unit in Sber. In March 2024 Mr. Vainberg was invited to join globally recognized VC fund Antler in Singapore as an Entrepreneur-in-residence. Currently Ekaterina splits her time between running an AI startup, consulting and lecturing in academia and for corporates. She is an invited professor at the University of Sao Paulo, Research Associate in the GLORAD and Intl. Board member of the Triple Helix Association.

YURAN JIN is a Professor, Doctoral supervisor, Associate Dean of School of Business Administration, and Director of Institute of Low-carbon Economy & Smart Business (ILCESB) in University of Science and Technology Liaoning. Dr. Jin is the originator of Business Model Innovation Canvas (BMIC), the drafter of many Chinese national standards in the field of Green Logistics, the Editor-in-chief of China Green Logistics Development Report, the Associate Editor of Innovation & Management Review, and EAB of European Journal of Innovation Management. Dr. Jin has published 7 books and more than 100 academic papers. His research directions include: Sustainable logistics and supply chain, Business model innovation, 3D Printing, Micro Smart Factory and Scientometrics.
