    Maria Hadjielia Drotarova

    Maria Hadjielia Drotarova is currently Head of Research and Coordinator of EU funding Programmes at the CTL Eurocollege, Cyprus. Hadjielia Drotarova received her Ph.D. from the Department of Educational Research of Lancaster University, UK. She is a programme coordinator and Senior Lecturer in the field of business and hospitality, CTL Eurocollege, Cyprus. Maria has substantial experience on EU-funded projects under Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020. Her research is found at the intersection of education and tourism, drawing on longitudinal qualitative research approach and focusing on topics such as educational research, social learning, dark tourism, and sharing economy.

    Viktor Prokop is currently Vice Dean and Associat Professor at the Unversity of Pardubice, Czech Republic. He is the author or co-author of more than 50 articles indexed in Scopus/Web of Science databases. He published his works in journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Energy Policy, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, R&D Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, and European Journal of Innovation Management. He is one of the editors of the book Business Models for the Circular Economy: A European Perspective published by Springer. Viktor Prokop primarily specializes in innovativeness and environmental behaviour of firms in Central and Eastern European countries. His current research interests include innovation ecosystems, (eco)innovation determinants, and open innovation models.

    Dr Anna Pechurina (PhD in Sociology, University of Manchester) is an Associate Professor in Sociology at the Department of Social and Psychological Studies at Karlstads University (KaU). Dr Pechurina’s research expertise includes: study of identity, culture, material culture and homemaking, migration, mobility, international higher education. Anna's current projects are: Sustainable Ageing of Migrant Populations in Sweden and Japan and their Transnational Families in the Framework of Digital Technologies; together with Satu Heikkinen, Tara Mehrabi (Karlstad University) and Ksenia Golovina (Toyo University) funded by Intsam through Vinnova, Sweden’s Innovation Agency.

    Brian Jones is a Senior Lecturer at the Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom. Brian joined Leeds Beckett University in 2004 as Senior Lecturer in Marketing. Since joining Leeds Beckett University Brian has been engaged in teaching and lecturing, academic and applied research, funded projects (e.g. Erasmus plus) and consultancy (e.g. ERDF). Before joining Leeds Beckett University Brian worked for the University of Durham where he contributed to and managed national and international (DfID funded) research, consultancy, training and enterprise programmes and projects surrounding the Small, Medium Enterprise sector. He previously lectured in Industrial Management at the University of Bradford and also served as a Research Officer in the area of education and skills for the British Government's Employment Department.

    Smail BENZIDIA is a University professor (full professor) in management sciences specialised in supply chain management at the University of Lorraine. He is the manager of the Master's degree in Quality Management and has been appointed academic manager for the development of international relations at the IAE Metz. Researcher at the European Research Centre for Financial Economics and Business Management (CEREFIGE), his research focuses on inter-organisational information systems and supply chain management.Smaïl Benzidia is co-founder of the international PROLOG conference "Project & Logistics", www.prolog-conference.com. He is currently elected full member of the CNU (06) representing the "Transitions" list of which he is the co-founder.

    Omar BENTAHAR holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Caen Normandy (2011). He is an University Lecturer in Project and Supply Chain Management at the University of Lorraine. He is in charge of the Master's degree in business management and administration and creator/manager of the Master's degree in project management at the IAE Metz. He is co-founder of the international conference PROLOG: "Project & Logistics " www.prolog-conference.com and also co-founder of the project list "Transitions" which he represents as an elected deputy member at CNU 06. Researcher at CEREFIGE, his research focuses on the management of complex projects, innovation, supply chain digitalisation and health logistics. His research is published in journals such as: IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Logistique & Management and Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review.

    Isam Shahrour is an eminent figure in civil engineering and smart urban systems, with extensive expertise encompassing civil engineering infrastructure, sustainable development, intelligent systems, innovation, research management, and international cooperation. His proficiency as a scientific leader and contributor to social and economic development has been recognized through his appointments to esteemed bodies such as the Water Academy in France and the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts. His accolades include being named the Economist Laureate “Best Researcher in Northern France.” Presently, he is playing a significant role in advancing the transition to sustainable and intelligent infrastructures in the Middle East, serving as an expert for the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), where he trains high-ranking officials and policymakers and leads the ARSCO Award Committee “Towards a Smart City in Arab Countries.” During his 40-year tenure as a faculty member at Lille University, France, Isam has fostered international solid collaborations across the USA, Europe, China, the Middle East, and North Africa. He has held significant academic management and policy-making positions, notably as Vice President of Research and Innovation at the University of Lille1 in France. He founded and led the Civil and Geo-Environmental Research Laboratory in the North of France, which aimed to pioneer innovative construction materials, civil engineering infrastructures, and sustainable urban development. Additionally, he chaired the "Lille Metropole Technopole" Innovation Agency, promoting regional economic growth through innovation. Throughout his career, Isam has directed numerous large-scale research projects funded by local, national, and European authorities and the private sector. These projects have encompassed smart urban systems initiatives such as smart campuses, social housing, municipal buildings, eco-districts, and water management systems. He has supervised around 100 Ph.D. students, authored nearly 200 peer-reviewed journal articles, and managed industrial and public contracts worth over 5 million Euros.

    Evrim Gemici received the B.Sc. degree in international relations and political science from Istanbul University, Istanbul, Türkey, in 1998, the M.Sc. degree in marketing from Bahcesehir University, Istanbul, Türkey, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in business administration with a specialization in management and organization from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Türkey, in 2019. She worked as a Lecturer with Yildiz Technical University for two years. Then she moved to Istanbul Health and Technology University as an Assistant Professor. She has extensive experience in sales and marketing, market research and project planning in various industries. Her research interests include human resource management, innovation management and strategic management. She is particularly familiar with the literature on high performance work systems, organizational resilience, and disruptive innovation. Her publications have appeared in various journals such as European Journal of Innovation Management, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.

    Almudena Muñoz Puche is a graduate in Chemistry from the University of Valencia, MBA from the Barcelona Business School and Master in Innovation and Digital Transformation from the UOC. Currently pursuing a PhD in the Inter-University Programme in Business Administration and Management at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. R&D project manager in the International Projects Department at CETEM. She has extensive experience in the preparation, management and justification of national and international R&D projects related to innovation, disruptive technologies, as well as Circular Economy and Industrial Symbiosis. She has more than 10 articles published thanks to her research and the results obtained in different projects. In addition, she is currently a collaborating professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
